Knife Pleat

Knife pleat curtains are a traditional header, often used to create volume in a curtain while keeping it fairly flat. For this reason, it works really well on a rear track.

A knife pleat lining or sheer is a truly functional choice. In the case of the sheer, the smaller pleats create a beautiful frill effect. For the Lining we would typically increase the width of the pleats, becoming flatter and less fussy, allowing the front curtain to be the feature.
